Olivier brings with him over 12 years of Web Analytics experience.
Prior to starting VinoMatch Inc, Olivier Silvestre started Tealium Inc in February 2008 (a high end web analytics and online marketing consulting and technology company). Olivier resigned after 2.5 years in August 2010 to fully concentrate on VinoMatch Inc. Tealium has been profitable since its beginning and continues to grow to this day.
Prior to Tealium, he held several upper management positions at Visual Sciences and WebSideStory (acquired by Omniture in 2008, then acquired by Adobe in 2009) in the fields of marketing E-business Intelligence and Professional Services.
As Director of Web Analytics and Optimization Consulting, Silvestre's day to day job was to help Fortune 500 customers turn information into action to maximize their online profitability. He was in charge of creating new customer data visualization tools and optimization services that drove ROI and improved communication for clients. He also managed a team of vertical specialists who are practice leaders and subject matter experts across a diverse range of sectors ranging from Media & Publishing, Commerce and Financial Services to Travel & Hospitality.
Olivier holds a Bachelor in electronics and an MBA from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers, one of the leading business schools in France, and has published many industry related articles and was a regular speaker at industry events prior to starting VinoMatch. Olivier is also enrolled in the W.S.E.T Advanced program (Wine & Spirit Education Trust).
Pierre Huguet [Co-Founder, CTO] a.k.a. The Professor
Pierre's love for wine is a family affair. Born and raised into a family of winemakers he has a deep passion for quality wine.
A software architect by trade, he holds a Master of Science in Software engineering from l’Ecole Superieure d’Informatique of Bordeaux (France); as well as a graduate degree in Leadership and Management from the University of California, San Diego.
With over 2 decades of experience in high-level architecture and large-scale applications development, Pierre worked with many Fortune 500 companies leading the development on some of their R&D projects, including Qualcomm, Microsoft, Caterpillar, Invitrogen, Cardinal health, WebSideStory – Now Adobe etc.
He is also an acclaimed technology instructor at University of California, San Diego since 2001. He created and taught over 12 accredited classes for the Computer Science department.
Pierre and Olivier have worked together on several projects over the last 10 years; many of them while he was directing the engineering team at WebSideStory (now Adobe).
Marc Lallouette [Co-Founder]
For over 16 years Marc worked in the upscale world of wine and gastronomy (The science of gourmet food and drink). From a family where wine is an institution, Marc is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of wine. Marc honed his skills among some of the greatest names in gastronomy - he had the privilege of working in Paris with l’épicerie Hediard (founded in 1854) and the renowned “La grande epicerie” (Group LVMH). In 2000, Marc moved to San Diego and opened his very own wine bar and fine grocery - French Accent. His boutique soon became famous for the exceptional quality of its wine selections and the popular weekly wine tasting. This was the birth place of the VinoMatch Concept.
Fei [Creative Director] a.k.a. Webmistress
The brain behind the beauty of VinoMatch Inc and a wine enthusiast by proxy, Fei is an award winning web & graphic designer and a user interface expert.
She holds a Bachelor in Computer Information Systems from San Diego State University and a Multimedia Development Certificate from University of California, San Diego.
Her creative insight and in-depth understanding of the web functionality and consumer behavior allow her to contribute to all aspects of the VinoMatch Inc development process including the initial conceptual stages, branding, artistic direction in web development as well as in communication and marketing.
